The present study is an attempt to elucidate the sedimentation regime
of the harbour and its environment. These investigations include
detailed studies on the hydrography' of the harbour region of the
estuary, estuarine circulation, spatial and temporal variations of the
amount and texture of bottom sediments. A note on the dredging is
also given in the Annexure .The thesis is presented in six chapters |
